The Leadership Truth About Being Nice

We live in a society where we are taught to be "nice".

The network marketing industry is notorious for that.

I've seen top leaders pour on the "nice" just to keep the reps buying piles of stuff but failing in business.

You're doing a great job! Big thumbs up for showing up for a call....

meanwhile in the background there is zero action going on.

That stuff drives me nuts.

If you actually saw someone you care about breaking the promises they made to themselves...

What would you do?

Would you "be nice" by giving some BS accolades? Would you be "nice" by turning a blind eye? ...

Would it be "nice" to let them fall short of their potential?

Or...

Would you hold them accountable ... and have those tough conversations that will ultimately help them progress in their business and ultimately their life?

Because here's the real truth...

If you ACTUALLY care about someone...

You'll be relentless in your efforts to help them improve...

You'll teach them the necessary skills...

You'll set a high standard...

You'll hold them to that standard...

...and as a result ... you'll help them build the life they truly want.

Now there will always be some, no matter how you try, who will self sabotage, push back, be a noble struggler and sometimes you have to recognize that and let it go....

After all you won't be able to help everyone if they reject your help.

You see most people won't want to hear the truth...

But....

If you actually care about people...

Hold them accountable.

Or you can continue being "nice" and watch them fail in life.

The choice is yours.
